Smackdown Main Event- HHH(c) vs Edge vs Undertaker (WWE Title)
During the Great American Bash, Undertaker cost Edge the match after making his return and distracting Edge, thanks to Vickie resigning Taker back to Smackdown. After the PPV, a frustrated Edge demanded a rematch due to interference, but Vickie declined and called it revenge for breaking her heart. Edge came up with his own revenge by threatening to put Chavo out of his job if she doesn’t grant Edge a rematch. Concerned about her own blood, she granted Edge his wish and set up a rematch for the title at SummerSlam. After the safe release of Chavo, Vickie tells Edge that his match at SummerSlam won’t be a one on one match; it will be a Triple Threat match, with the third contender being the Undertaker.

Raw Main Event- CM Punk(c) vs Batista vs Kane in a Steel Cage (Heavyweight Title)
At the Great American Bash, Kane interfered in the main event and cost Batista the match. After his interference, Kane pulled out matches and a gasoline and went to set Batista on fire, but he failed to do so. The following day, we saw a amazing show of events when we saw Kane causing chaos throughout the night. At the end, we saw Kane light his own face on fire. The next week, CM Punk handed over a rematch to Batista due to the interference, in which Batista accepts. But to make sure there is no more interference, Batista makes it a Steel Cage match, which Punk accepts. The week before SummerSlam, it is announced that Kane will make his return and be the 3rd contender in the title match.

EWC Main Event- Mark Henry(c) vs Matt Hardy in a Tables Match (ECW Title)
After retaining the title at GAB against Tommy Dreamer, Mark Henry set up a Battle Royal for the #1 Contender. After beating 17 other men, Matt Hardy won the match after pinning Braden Walker. The next week, we saw a non-tile match between the two men, with Henry getting the win after only 35 seconds. We later saw Teddy Long speaking with Matt the week after, to find out later that night that the match at SummerSlam will be a Tables Match. A furious Mark Henry promised that at SummerSlam, he will not only break tables, he will break Matt Hardy and showed a preview by slamming Super Crazy through a table.

Cena and Cryme Time vs JBL, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase Jr. in a Bronx Brawl match.
Following Cena’s win against JBL at the GAB, JBL’s men came out and started beating down Cena. It didn’t end after that, with Cryme Time coming out for the save and trading punches with Rhodes and DiBiase Jr. On Raw, Cena said that since JBL set up their last match, how about he sets up his own match. He called it a “Bronx Brawl� and detailed it by saying that each wrestler can pick one weapon and use it in the match. With JBL accepting, he says that Cena can bring his boys if JBL and bring his, Cena agrees to it.


Jesse and Festus vs The Miz and Morrison (WWE Tag Team Titles)
The team of Jesse and Festus received their first title at the GAB after pinning the champs, Miz and Morrison. After their devastating defeat, Miz and Morrison challenged the new champs at SummerSlam for the titles. Coming into SummerSlam, it’s looking unpromising for the new champs after weeks of singles matches losing to each man, can the team of Jesse and Festus hold onto the titles?

6-Man Battle Royal- Kennedy vs. MVP vs. Carlito vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Vladimir Koslov vs. Shelton Benjamin (#1 Contender for the United States Title)
After setting up a deal with Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero announced that there will be a 6-Man Battle Royal for the U.S. Title at SummerSlam. Brian Kendrick was supposed to be a contender, but Vladimir argued that he deserved to be in the match and after pinning Kendrick for the last spot in a singles match, he replaced Kendrick in the Battle Royal.

i think the cena/jbl, WHC and WWE matches are damn good.

Yeah, I hope to keep doing this before every ppv. Thanks btw.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the way the WHC and WWE matches came together. Ofcourse I'm going into wishing for the WWE title match, but the WHC match is current events and it goes together. I would really enjoy the Cena/JBL match. Something new, you have 3 top face wrestlers against 3 top heel wrestlers in a match we've never seen. A fued that has been burning for months now. We have the tag champs in a match that could led to title match with Cryme Time. It would be a very entertaining match.

The ECW match was something I needed to put in. I think putting it in as a Tables match, which Matt is good at, but against someone twice his size, could be a good match. Its really a questionable match, because you have experience vs size in this and anything can happen.

The Tag Titles match would happen due to the fact that with Miz and Morrison losing, this would be their rematch clause. The other match is kinda boring, but its also eye catching because everyone would wanna see if Jeff will win and face his brother.
