I have finished the major part of development for a ratings and reviews engine for bodybuilding.com products.

It is available in the bodybuilding .com toolbar

One innovative feature that I added includes flavor ratings.

This is not the same toolbar. I utilized the conduit toolbar creation site for this particular one. Check out conduit here Create a Custom Toolbar | Conduit. Some parts of the conduit toolbar have linked in search. You can disable these "features" during the installation process and after the toolbar is installed. Some of these features may appear intrusive but the search revenue helps fund the toolbar development.

A little background on me. At one time I was a programmer for bodybuilding.com. I worked with Skippy. I see this as a very beneficial feature in aiding people in making informed decisions before purchasing a product. This method of obfuscating ratings and reviews protects bodybuilding.com from FDA liability since the toolbar is not sponsored by bodybuilding.com and yet still allows for ratings and reviews on the same page as the actual product.

Haven't got around to messing with it since my p.o.s. firefox can barely run without any add-ons but it looks like a damn good idea.

This particular version runs on IE as well (if that helps). I chose Create a Custom Toolbar | Conduit for this reason. The firefox only extension is a different proof of concept entirely. I am working on a bodyspace hot or not set as well. Just trying to find the time to finish it.
