Default Judo

I'm going to be taking a semester long Judo class next semester, and I was wondering what everyone who has experience thinks of Judo?

I want to get into martial arts and my college offers Judo so I figured I'd try it, test the waters...what other martial arts are interesting?

judo is also good to combine with bjj, especially if you plan on competing. all grappling tournaments start standing so if you know how to throw your opponent then you will be more versatile than someone who may just primarily do bjj or wrestle.

Nice begining/first art, it has a fast learning curve, and integrates well with other arts. It gives you all the options from the initial throw and lets you determine where the fight occurs.
