Some kid made a thread about how he was going to kill himself, took a bunch of pills, and passed out on web cam. People were apparently egging him on, calling him a pussy and shit. I guess he laid there for hours until a guy in a uniform came in and covered the cam up. Some misc detectives have concluded that he is in fact dead.

Cliffs:

It's sad a 19 year old kid would feel the need to kill himself. My uncle killed himself when he was in his 20's. Fucked up shit.

i had an ex that was suicidal so i guess i feel nothing towards those sort of people, cos she made my life hell, and u feel like u always gotta be there else they will kill themself, so now if any1 says they suicidal i say well done, cya later

I thought an ex of mine a while back was suicidal when I broke up with her. So, I told one of our mutual friends to check on her. They started dating about a month later.

listen im not being a dick here i dont think, yes its sad that such a young person has died, but to me, that person is a fool, he had a life, he had 2 arms, 2 legs and a family, there are people out there with far far less, and he wasted it, to me that is cowardly and a disgrace, i feel bad for his family, especially that it was live on the web, but i dont feel bad for him at all, i pitty him

you don't know what his circumstances were. if he had a family, you don't know what his connection to them was like. if you're depressed, you need help. it's not something you can snap out of, like a daydream, and depression isn't voluntary.

i had problems growing up, and i had low self-esteem as a teenager. when you're depressed, you think that there's no way out of it: you can't comprehend any other way of living. when i went to college, i met a lot of different kinds of people, and my experience made me realize that i didn't have to feel depressed if i didn't want to. i didn't know how to get better, but i knew i wanted to. that's when i started going to counseling. even then, it took a lot of effort to change and not slip back into my old habits.

but if i never had those experiences that led to my wanting to get better, i would've stayed depressed and probably gotten worse. the guy from the misc might've never had any experiences that helped him realize he didn't have to feel depressed. he might've been looking for that experience online.

suicide seems cowardly to us because we're stable individuals. but if you've never experienced depression, you can't know what it feels like and how it affects your life.

it's so easy not to have sympathy for other people. do you think you're unique in not feeling sympathy? i'm sure a lot of people never try to understand others unless they stand to gain something from it. but that attitude won't change society; maybe if more people had sympathy, events like Columbine and 9/11 wouldn't have happened.

he has tried to kill himself b4, y no1 has made him seek help i do not know.

if u r a fragile person, and u are wanting to get better but dont know how, u surely wouldnt be on the misc when u see how people act there, it would be playing with fire...

either way u are right, we do not know his circumstanes and we dont know his family background, wat we do know, he killed himself live on the web?? thats sick, thats perverted somewhat, y would u want to show people? to finally get some recognition?
