Well, Im finally back! been out for a few months with no net....

have you seen the new mag (don't recall which... it was either car'n'driver, motor trend, or automobile)? theycompared the new gt-r, 911 turbo, and m3

It was car and driver, the M3 lost across the board but was somehow the favor'd car. Their comment was "All manufacturers should stop making their cars and make only M3s" The comparison had no dirrection and no real way of deciding a winner beyond "we like M3s more then other cars anyway, even if last generations M3 was more comfortable, just as fast, and better looking...."

i know lmao i did find that funny. they described it as the most fun to drive due to handling and chose it as the winner, despite the slowest times, least power, and highest lb per hp

btw i just thought of something. i think a better measurement of engine performance to vehicle weight would be lb per average of hp and torque or lb per hp+torque. not an accurate measure of an automobile's performance, but just sayn

LB per HP is really only good for drag racing. to much comes into play on all other types of racing. They chose the M3 because it was the cheapest, and its a bmw, and bmw's dont lose comparos in car and driver unless its being compared to a toyota.
